Tony Vergara is a clothing and accessories brand from Panama, founded in 2014 by the designer of the same name.
Tony Vergara is defined by his fusion of craftsmanship and attention to detail with a sense of refined versatility. The inspiration of the art and cultural references of Panama combines with an emphasis on the making and the use of fabrics, regularly intervened with applications, being this one of the most notorious works and main thread in most of the collections.
The emerging brand established itself as a leading talent in the luxury Ready To Wear sector in Panama City, which has a certain relationship to Haute Couture.
Due to the creative enthusiasm in the visual arts and digital marketing, a little explored tool, back then in the national fashion, the designs of the firm received the attention of an emerging client, in such a way that to communicate the collections became essential part Of the business, making use of social networks to express the spirit of the firm.
In October 2016, Tony Vergara appears on the cover of MUJER magazine, being the first magazine focused on fashion in which he makes use of the uniform of a sewing workshop.
In November 2016, Tony Vergara also launches its first collection of luxury accessories. A series of accessories composed of earrings, rings and bracelets with floral appliques, of which, the earrings proved to be the best selling object of the firm so far.
For the first time, the firm makes its way in the commercial field by exclusively selling its accessories in the ANIMA store in Panama City.

Tony Vergara is a Panamanian designer, who from an early age ventured into various artistic disciplines such as Drawing and Plastic Arts, the latter being the basis of the creation of his artistic profession.
Tony Vergara has played an important role in reinvigorating Panamanian fashion. Since its introduction to fashion in 2008, it has been awarded by Fashion Week Panama with the award offered by the Marangoni Institute, resulting in a winner for two consecutive years, 2012 and 2013.
Later, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Embassy of Panama in Great Britain, extended the invitation to the Designer to participate in the International Fashion Showcase, organized by the British Fashion Council, held during London Fashion Week.
In 2013, he traveled to Florence (Firenze), Italy. Where he established his knowledge in the "Ready To Wear" luxury and in the field of Haute Couture in the Institut Polimoda. During his stay, he made a brief internship at Opificio della Moda e del Costume, where he was able to perfect techniques such as "moulage", "draping" and textile design.
